Easy 4th of July Desserts

Happy Independence day to our friends across the Atlantic !!!

These patriotic treats are perfect for your 4th of July preparations, and they are extremely easy.

BERRY POP

Ingredients

1cup. Strawberries

3 tablespoons sugar

1 1/2 tablespoon.  lime juice

1/2 cup full-fat plain yogurt

2 tablespoons. double cream

1cup. blueberries

4. Lollipop Moulds

Let’s get started:-

  • In a blender,puree a combination  strawberries, 1 tablespoon sugar, and  1/2 teaspoon lime juice. Divide the  puree among 4 lollipop molds. Freeze until firm, about 30 minutes.
  • Combine yogurt, cream, and 1 tablespoons each sugar and lime juice. Remove molds from freezer and top with yogurt mixture; insert ice-pop sticks. Freeze until firm, about 30 minutes.
  • In clean blender, puree blueberries, 1 tablespoon sugar, and remaining 1/2 tablespoons lime juice. Pour through clean sieve into a bowls; discard solids. Remove molds from freezer and top with blueberry puree. Freeze until solid (4 hours/overnight).

BERRY & LEMON POSSET

Ingredients

400ml. Double Cream

100g. Sugar

2. Lemons

2cups. strawberries

2cups. blueberries

Let’s get started:-

  • Pour the cream and sugar in a saucepan, stir to dissolve the sugar and bring to boil.
  • Remove from the fire and let it simmer without stirring for 3 mins.
  • De-seed the lemon for some juice and whisk into the cream mixture (a quick tip for getting more juices out of your lemon – (soak your lemons in boiling water for 1 hour, before juicing).
  • Pour the mixture into two glasses and chill for 4 hours to set.
  • Arrange the blueberries and strawberries in the shape of the American
