This is for the people who want a quick dessert without a lot of hassel. You can buy the puff pastry, freeze it and use it whenever.
I came up with this recipe by using the ingredients I had in the house (strawberry and nutella). Everybody loves Nutella right? and it does go with pretty much everything. Also, I wanted something quick and easy. So in this case, you can adapt the measurement as you wish.
Prep time: 15mins│Cook time: 15mins│Serves: 2
4 Tbsps. Nutella
1 Tbsp. Icing sugar
Let’s get started:
Preheat the oven to 200C.
Cut the puff pastry sheets to your desired length/shape (made 2 rectangles), score around the edges and use a fork to poke holes like the picture below.
Poking holes ensures that the middle is not puffy.
Place in the oven for 15 mins to obtain a flaky golden tart shell and leave for 5 mins to cool down.
Use a knife to remove the top layer and smother the nutella on the bottom layer.
Add the strawberries and sprinkle the icing sugar.
